💡 How to hang wallpaper

Before starting work and hanging the wallpaper, please pay attention to the following aspects: check the article number, the batch number, and the pattern repeat symbols. Please keep the control slip and wallpaper samples.
Carefully prepare the surface
Surface preparation – the surface must be dry, sound, capable of absorbing moisture evenly, clean, neutral, and smooth. Old wallpaper and water-soluble coatings must be removed. Cracks and holes should be filled with a spackling compound if necessary, while highly absorbent surfaces must be pre-primed with wallpaper paste (sizing). Old, unstable surfaces that cannot bear a load must be primed with a specially designed wallpaper primer.
Attention! Non-woven wallpaper must be hung on a uniformly colored surface. For this reason, we recommend applying a pigmented base coat under the wallpaper.

The adhesive must be applied directly to the wall.
We recommend using a high-quality, reliable brand of adhesive specifically designed for non-woven wallpaper, and following the preparation instructions provided. Thoroughly mix the non-woven wallpaper adhesive according to the manufacturer's guidelines. Using a roller, apply the adhesive to the wall over the width of the wallpaper roll.

Hanging the wallpaper.
Hanging non-woven wallpaper always begins "from the light," which means that wallpapering the walls should start near a window. Ensure that the first strip of wallpaper is applied in a perfectly vertical line and properly aligned vertically, so that subsequent strips can be hung straight.
After the wall is coated with adhesive, the non-woven wallpaper is applied directly to the wall and smoothed out with a roller; moreover, this type of wallpaper requires no soaking time. Using a soft wallpapering brush, a cloth, or a microporous rubber roller, press the strip firmly against the wall and smooth it out to prevent the formation of air bubbles.

Trimming the excess and finishing up...
Trim the overhanging edges of the wallpaper at the top and bottom. Hang the subsequent strips of wallpaper perfectly edge-to-edge (butt joint). A conical seam roller can be used at the joints. Please note that strong heat and drafts must be avoided during application and drying. The optimal working temperature ranges from 18 °C to 25 °C.
Additional tips
Another advantage of decorating walls with non-woven wallpaper is that, if applied properly, it can be easily and completely removed dry from the wall during your next renovation.

Description
The main distinguishing feature of this model (characteristic of the German brand RASCH) is its exquisite, absolutely pure, and universal grey-beige or greige (light champagne or mother-of-pearl) tone.
Būtiskākā šī dizaina pievienotā vērtība ir tā daudzslāņainā virsmas apdare. It stands out with a pronounced vertical texture that visually resembles fine silk threads or brushed precious metal, complemented by a surface with a light, noble satin shimmer. Unlike cheap and flashy gloss, this reflection is discreet, creating the effect of an expensive material playing in the light, which brings exclusive and modern lightness to the room.
In interior design and spatial psychology, combining such neutral yet shimmering tones and strict vertical texture is a powerful tool for creating a visually wider, cleaner, and extremely elegant interior.
Psychological aspect and impact on the space:
-
Visual elevation and improvement of room proportions: The vertical direction of the texture naturally directs the gaze upwards, visually "raising" the ceiling. This gives the room stateliness and architectural order.
-
Emotional balance and universal background: The greige tone is a perfect compromise between cool grey and warm sand. It subconsciously associates with stability and elegance, serving as a visual anti-stress and creating a harmonious, unobtrusive background that does not tire the eyes.
-
Expert recommendations for choosing a room:
Thanks to their high quality and refined aesthetics, these wallpapers will perfectly complement the assortment, appealing to both private and commercial clients:
-
For B2B projects and beauty salons: an ideal choice for SPA zones, aesthetic medicine, and beauty salons across the Baltics, where wall decoration needs to create a visually spacious, immaculately clean, and reliable premium class atmosphere.
-
As an excellent base wallpaper for the whole home: creating a fine, shimmering, and structured foundation which, thanks to its neutral tone, will blend perfectly with both warm wood and cool metal interior elements.
-
For modern and Japandi interiors: where the main value is the richness of textures and a restrained yet subtle color palette without excessive patterns.
