💡 How to hang wallpaper

Before starting work and hanging the wallpaper, please pay attention to the following aspects: check the article number, the batch number, and the pattern repeat symbols. Please keep the control slip and wallpaper samples.
Carefully prepare the surface
Surface preparation – the surface must be dry, sound, capable of absorbing moisture evenly, clean, neutral, and smooth. Old wallpaper and water-soluble coatings must be removed. Cracks and holes should be filled with a spackling compound if necessary, while highly absorbent surfaces must be pre-primed with wallpaper paste (sizing). Old, unstable surfaces that cannot bear a load must be primed with a specially designed wallpaper primer.
Attention! Non-woven wallpaper must be hung on a uniformly colored surface. For this reason, we recommend applying a pigmented base coat under the wallpaper.

The adhesive must be applied directly to the wall.
We recommend using a high-quality, reliable brand of adhesive specifically designed for non-woven wallpaper, and following the preparation instructions provided. Thoroughly mix the non-woven wallpaper adhesive according to the manufacturer's guidelines. Using a roller, apply the adhesive to the wall over the width of the wallpaper roll.

Hanging the wallpaper.
Hanging non-woven wallpaper always begins "from the light," which means that wallpapering the walls should start near a window. Ensure that the first strip of wallpaper is applied in a perfectly vertical line and properly aligned vertically, so that subsequent strips can be hung straight.
After the wall is coated with adhesive, the non-woven wallpaper is applied directly to the wall and smoothed out with a roller; moreover, this type of wallpaper requires no soaking time. Using a soft wallpapering brush, a cloth, or a microporous rubber roller, press the strip firmly against the wall and smooth it out to prevent the formation of air bubbles.

Trimming the excess and finishing up...
Trim the overhanging edges of the wallpaper at the top and bottom. Hang the subsequent strips of wallpaper perfectly edge-to-edge (butt joint). A conical seam roller can be used at the joints. Please note that strong heat and drafts must be avoided during application and drying. The optimal working temperature ranges from 18 °C to 25 °C.
Additional tips
Another advantage of decorating walls with non-woven wallpaper is that, if applied properly, it can be easily and completely removed dry from the wall during your next renovation.

Description
These wallpapers attract attention with their very light, silvery gray or almost white tone and an exquisite pattern resembling classic arabesques or vines. The main feature of these wallpapers is their unique, combined texture, which creates a luxurious visual overall image. Interestingly, the pattern itself is completely matte, while the smooth base stands out with a light, elegant metallic effect.
Mood in your room
-
Play with light: The metallic base captures and reflects the light in the room, creating a subtle and broad shimmer, while the matte, curved pattern absorbs the light. This contrast creates a wonderful and dynamic play of light and shadow, making the wall visually lively and changing depending on the viewpoint and lighting.
-
Mood and space: Light, cool tones and a classically flowing pattern give the room an aristocratic, but at the same time light and modern elegance. These wallpapers are a flawless choice for classic living rooms, exquisite bedrooms, or formal hallways.
-
Touch: The pronounced matte three-dimensional relief provides a very pleasant, tactile feeling that gives the wall a noticeable depth. This texture frees the walls from 'flatness' and practically helps to elegantly mask small surface irregularities.
Tapetenshop experts' advice:
"As Tapetenshop store experts, we particularly recommend these wallpapers for interiors combining classics and modern luxury or 'modern classic' style. The light combined texture will look wonderful together with silver or crystal lighting fixtures, wall mirrors, soft velour furniture in cool or pastel tones, and white-painted wood details. Our main advice: to maximize this unique play of shine and matte relief, we recommend using targeted side lighting in the room. Wall sconces or floor lamps, whose light falls parallel to the wallpaper, will highlight the matte 3D pattern on the shimmering background, creating a truly exclusive and luxurious atmosphere in your home."
